Serena Williams is back on the centre court today (June 28) when she takes on Harmony Tan.

The seven-time Wimbledon singles champion Williams has earned a legendary status at Wimbledon. The 40-year-old has been a finalist in four of her last five Wimbledon appearances and she has overcome injuries to make it to the All England Club.

Williams has not played tennis since limping out of her first-round match at last year’s Wimbledon. She also became the third tennis giant to withdraw from the US Open last year, following Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

Tan is currently world number 115 and is making her Wimbledon debut. The 24-year-old heads into the championship with minimal Grand Slam pedigree.
