Who are the other owners at Glazer-run Manchester United as Sir Jim Ratcliffe set to secure stake
Sir Jim Ratcliffe closes in on a 25 per cent stake at Manchester United as he aims to take on ownership of the club alongside the Glazer family. Ratcliffe will be working alongside the Glazers in the hope of delivering a bright, new future for the football club.
The family have been at the helm since 2005, and have been the target of criticism from fans ever since because of the way they bought the club and also their running of it over the last 18 years. Fans are hoping that Ratcliffe's investment might be the beginning of the end of the Glazer era, but there's no sign of that happening imminently.
