The family have been at the helm since 2005, and have been the target of criticism from fans ever since because of the way they bought the club and also their running of it over the last 18 years. Fans are hoping that Ratcliffe's investment might be the beginning of the end of the Glazer era, but there's no sign of that happening imminently.

Avram Glazer owns eight companies alongside his role as co-chairman of United, alongside his brother, Joel. He has been the chairman of the Innovate Corporation since 2020.
