The ongoing season has got a new weapon in the form of the Ranger Shotgun. This is a single barrel Shotgun with the ability to deal damage at longer ranges.

Shotguns have been a powerful weapon in the game and the addition of the Ranger Shotgun further increases the options players have at their disposal.

Here’s where you can find Ranger Shotgun in Fortnite.

You can find the Ranger Shotgun by opening chests and Supply Drops or on the ground as floor loot. The Ranger Shotgun can also be found as a likely drop from Loot Sharks, meaning you will have to take the Loot Shark down and if you are lucky it might drop you one of them shotguns.

You won’t be able to purchase the weapon from the start. The Ranger Shotgun holds just one bullet but boasts some impressive damage numbers. A Common-rarity Ranger can do 117 player damage, the Epic-rarity can do 136 damage, while the Legendary Ranger holds a tremendous 142 damage per shot.

These are some pretty big numbers and it easily makes this shotgun an amazing meta weapon; however, you will have to be very accurate and land your shots as it only holds a single bullet.

Another great thing about the Ranger Shotgun is its range. The weapon can deal good damage to distant enemies which means you can easily eliminate enemies from more than a few meters away.
