When Manchester City will parade the Champions League trophy if they win

Manchester City's players stand on the verge of history. In little more than 24 hours' time, City could be lifting the Champions League for the first time in the club's history.

Three-time winners Inter Milan stand in the way of Pep Guardiola's side, but the Blues go into tomorrow's game as favourites. It's only the second Champions League final City have played, following the defeat against Chelsea two years ago.

With this year's FA Cup and Premier League trophies already in the bag, City fans are hoping to complete a famous treble with victory in Istanbul tomorrow. In doing so, City could follow in the footsteps of neighbours United, who won the same three trophies in 1999.

The Manchester Evening News understands a bus parade will take place on Monday, June 12, if City beat Inter in tomorrow night's match. The parade is expected to take place from 6.30pm and last around an hour.

It is due to be followed by a stage show, the M.E.N. understands. Locations for the parade and stage show are yet to be confirmed.

Details on whether or not a trophy parade will take place to celebrate the side's Premier League and FA Cup success, if City lose the Champions League final, are also unconfirmed. Last year, City fans enjoyed a bus parade from Exchange Square to Beetham Tower, after winning the Premier League.

That parade was also followed by a stage show. Further details on whether the bus parade will go ahead and where it will be are expected to be confirmed following the Champions League final tomorrow.
