When is the Women's Euro 2022 final? Date, time and ticket info as England book place

England booked their place in the final of the Women’s European Championship with a thumping win over Sweden on Tuesday night.

Sarina Wiegman’s side put in a superb performance at Bramall Lane to sweep aside the Swedes 4-0. Beth Mead sent the Lionesses into the break 1-0 up with a clinical finish and the hosts ran riot in the second half with goals from Lucy Bronze, Alessia Russo and Fran Kirby.

Victory ensured England progressed to their first major tournament final since 2009. They will aim to go one better than Gareth Southgate’s side when they take on the winner of Germany and France, who face each other in the second semi-final on Wednesday night in Milton Keynes.

According to the official Wembley Stadium website, tickets for the final have now sold out, with £50 Category 1, £30 Category 2 and £15 Category 3 tickets all gone.

UEFA could release more tickets for supporters of the teams who reach the final because throughout the tournament, additional allocations have been made available for sides progressing in the knockout stages. Keep an eye on UEFA’s official ticketing account on Twitter and UEFA’s website.
