The Rangers AGM is just around the corner and the top table will look unrecognisable from this time last year.

A raft of high-profile departures in the last 12 months has seen the likes of chief executive James Bisgrove, chairman John Bennett and football operations director Creag Robertson all quit the club. Interim board boss John Gilligan has been left to pick up the pieces as he scrambles to fill the gaping holes that have summed up a chaotic 2024 for the Light Blues.

And that's not to mention the summer stadium fiasco that temporarily evicted Gers from their Govan home, or the alarming £17.2million loss recently published in the club's accounts. Then of course, there's the small issue of the yawning chasm that exists with Celtic, who are miles ahead of their Old Firm rivals both on and off the park.

It was announced last week that Patrick Stewart had finally been appointed as Bisgrove's replacement after a six-month search. But the ex-Manchester United exec's first day in the job isn't until December 16 – 24 hours after the Premier Sports Cup Final at Hampden. Under-fire boss Philippe Clement has bought time by leading Gers to a stunning 4-1 Europa League win away to Nice last week. However, the Belgian's time could be up if his team lose out again to Brendan Rodgers' winning machine.
