When is the Grand National 2022? Date, schedule, weather forecast, tickets, latest odds and more
The most famous horse race in the world returns this weekend, with the 174th running of the Grand National at Aintree.
Twelve months ago, Rachael Blackmore made history as the first female jockey ever to win the race, partnering the Henry De Bromhead-trained Minella Times to glory.
That race took place in front of empty grandstands, with fans not yet cleared to return to sporting events following the pandemic, while the 2020 renewal was cancelled outright in the heart of the first lockdown.
