When is the Challenge Cup semi-final draw and how can I follow it

The Challenge Cup has reached the quarter-final stage with just eight teams remaining in the competition. Semi-final spots are up for grabs this weekend, with teams battling it out to move within one win of the final, which will be held at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in May.

The draw for the semi-finals will take place on Sunday and here’s all you need to know.

The draw will take place at half-time in Sunday’s televised quarter-final between Wigan Warriors and Wakefield Trinity. That game kicks off at 2.30pm, meaning the draw is expected to be made between 3.15pm and 3.30pm.

The draw will be broadcast live on BBC Two during the channel's coverage of the game at Belle Vue. However, there will be live updates available on Hull Live, too.

The quarter-finals will be played out this weekend, starting with Hull KR against Castleford Tigers on Friday night. Holders St Helens travel to Perpignan on Saturday afternoon, while Huddersfield Giants play host to Hull FC at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Wakefield Trinity will round off the weekend with their clash against Wigan Warriors.

Friday 8 April (7.45pm KO) – Hull KR v Castleford Tigers live on Premier Sports

Saturday 9 April (2.30pm KO UK time) – Catalans Dragons v St Helens live on BBC1

Saturday 9 April (5pm KO) Huddersfield Giants v Hull FC live on Premier Sports

Sunday 10 April (2.30pm KO) – Wakefield Trinity v Wigan Warriors live on BBC2

Teams will have approximately four weeks to prepare for their semi-final clashes, with ties set to be played on Saturday, May 7. The two semi-finals will be played at Elland Road, the home of Leeds United, in a triple-header that will also feature the women’s final.
