When is The Boys Presents: Diabolical out on Amazon Prime Video and what is the animated series about?
It’s already being described as ‘delightfully unhinged’.
New animated series The Boys Presents: Diabolical is coming soon to Prime Video.
It is a spin-off from the streaming service’s Emmy-nominated hit The Boys - a black comedy about an anti-superhero unit, based on the New York Times best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson.

Diabolical will consist of eight, fun-size episodes running 12 to 14 minutes - each with its own animation style - and revealing unseen stories from The Boys universe.
A spokesman for Amazon studios said the series had been ‘brought to life by some of the most creative and bloody brilliant minds in entertainment today’.
All eight episodes of The Boys Presents: Diabolical will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on Friday 4 March.
It is being released ahead of The Boys Season 3, which is set to drop its first three episodes on June 3 - with the remaining five airing every Friday through to July 8.
The animated shorts are billed as ‘eight stories that give heroes a bad name’. The warped tales are definitely not for children - featuring gore, graphic violence and extremely strong language.
Some episodes will relate directly to the original Prime series, such as one about the origins of Antony Starr’s character Homelander.
One episode, written by renowned Canadian actor and filmmaker Seth Rogen, is called Laser Baby’s Day Out and features an infant that unwittingly shoots laser beams out of its eyes - with expectedly chaotic consequences.
Another is called John and Sun-Hee and is inspired by Korean horror.
Amazon studios have revealed the names of the other episodes, which are: An Animated Short
