Just how does the Premier League title race play out from here?

Manchester City's loss to Tottenham Hotspur has dramatically changed the dynamic in the race for top spot, which Liverpool will be all too aware of.

Jurgen Klopp's side have the power to reduce the gap to the league leaders to just three points when taking on Leeds United on Wednesday and cannot afford to pass up on such a inviting opportunity.

City have maintained high standards throughout this season, but are now faced with a situation that could soon be taken out of their control.

Should Liverpool move to within three points of the Sky Blues and continue to pick up three points through the month of March, one fixture in particular could well determine which side will become champions in May.

City host the Reds at the start of April in the Premier League, where there will be little margin for error for either side.

This match is currently scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 9 - but there is every chance this date will be altered to accommodate for TV broadcasting.

As is often the case with the blockbuster contests in the division, the Sunday late kick-off (4:30pm) on Sky Sports will likely be the chosen slot for this fixture.
