When is Glastonbury 2023 and how to get tickets to next year's festival

The prestigious Glastonbury festival is back for the first time in two years. Last held in 2019, the iconic event was cancelled for two years running due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Music fans will be eager to get back to Worthy Farm, in Somerset, for five days filled with world-class performances, arts and entertainment. This year's headliners include Supremes star Diana Ross, Beatles legend Paul McCartney and American pop musician Billie Eilish.

The five-day celebration, which is one of the highlights of festival season, will be a busy one. There will be 31 performance areas and some lucky 210,000 people attending. The 2022 festival takes place from Wednesday 22 to Sunday 26 June.

Previous headliners have included David Bowie, Radiohead, Muse and Coldplay. But the act to draw the biggest crowd to date was The Levellers in 1994, when an estimated 300,000 people swarmed to see the Brightonian rock band - with some even gatecrashing the festival.

As excitement grows around this year’s Glastonbury Festival, people are naturally starting to think how they may be able to get in to 2023's event. With the help of SomersetLive, we've compiled everything we know so far about next year's edition below...

Every five years, Glastonbury Festival is
