Paul Pogba was surprised at the atmosphere at Elland Road when Manchester United played Leeds this season.

Pogba started as United beat Leeds 4-2 in February. United were two goals ahead in that match thanks to strikes from Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes, but the hosts came out fighting in the second half to draw level shortly after the break.

United soon displayed some uncharacteristic fight - resilience has been mostly absent this season - after that setback to score another two goals to notch the three points. United's hopes of securing Champions League football were alive back then.

Manchester United told Harry Maguire will 'be looking forward to getting away in the summer'

United captain Maguire will be desperate to get away from the club this summer, according to a former Premier League striker. Maguire has been regularly criticised by the United fanbase this season following some poor performances.

He was ironically cheered when substituted against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League before being booed on international duty in a friendly against Ivory Coast. Earlier this month, Greater Manchester Police were called to Maguire's home after he received a bomb threat.

Subsequently, Maguire was benched for United's defeat at Arsenal and was omitted from the matchday squad entirely for the visit of Chelsea on Thursday. Now, according to Gabriel Agbonlahor, Maguire will be desperate for the season to end.
