What Man City striker Erling Haaland said to Borussia Dortmund staff in tunnel after match

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland jokingly told Borussia Dortmund's staff not to "beat me up" as he walked past them in the tunnel after Wednesday night's Champions League match.

City came from behind to beat Dortmund 2-1 as Pep Guardiola's side recorded their second win in the group phase. The German opponents proved hard to break down as they prevented the Blues from having a single shot on target in the first half.

Jude Bellingham gave Dortmund a deserved lead after the break but the momentum soon turned, and City's way back into the game came from an unlikely goalscorer in John Stones.

City's second goal came from a far more predictable source, as Haaland leapt through the air at the back post to acrobatically turn home the Blues' second.

After full-time, Haaland was filmed walking past Dortmund's coaching staff. Having just scored the winning goal against his former side moments earlier, you may well have expected things to be tense.

The Norwegian, however, tried to make light of the situation, as he jokingly said "Don't beat me up", prompting laughter from the Bundesliga side's backroom staff as the 22-year-old headed to the changing rooms.
