What is the Celtic transfer priority this month and has Rangers debacle over VAR gone too far? Monday Jury
Keith Jackson: Rangers were fighting the good fight on behalf of all of Scottish football until they played the Willie Collum card and took a flamethrower to their own argument. Questions should be asked of VAR in general and of that almighty mess in particular. But this eye popping paranoia renders them ridiculous.
Craig Swan: Of course they have, clubs cannot be telling the SFA what referees they would prefer to have or indeed which ones they don’t want.
Andy Newport: It’s all just a bit strange, to say the least. The penalty would never have stood in any case due to the Sima offside, so I’m not sure this was ever going to turn out the way Rangers wanted. The least said about their demands for Willie Collum to be stood down the better...
Fraser Wilson: It’s incredible this is still being talked about considering the penalty would never have stood anyway. A mistake was made by VAR in the initial part of the decision. Unfortunately VAR has not eradicated mistakes. As for Rangers asking for a referee not to be considered for their games, that will never and should never be allowed.
Keith: Celtic need a quality winger, a centre forward who can challenge Kyogo for a starting place and a keeper who will eventually take over the gloves from Joe Hart. But Rodgers might not get all of it in one window.
Craig: A striker. They need somebody who can take the weight of responsibility off of Kyogo.
Andy: : Greg Taylor has had an up and down season so far and Alexandro Bernabei seems incapable of pushing the Scotland defender, so another left-back seems like a good starting off point for the Parkhead boss.
Fraser: A centre half. As good as Cameron Carter-Vickers is and Liam Scales has been Celtic could come unstuck at the back
