'What have they done to me?' — Man City star Phil Foden fumes at FIFA 23 rating

Manchester City star Phil Foden has provided some fantastic entertainment when reacting to his new player rating on FIFA 23.

The Man City FIFA 23 player ratings were officially been revealed ahead of the game's release, with City boasting one of the best squads in the new game. FIFA 23 was released in the UK and Worldwide on Friday, September 30, 2022, available for everyone to play now.

Kevin De Bruyne is the joint highest-rated player in FIFA 23, rated 91 out of 99. Ederson is the second highest-rated at the club at 89 overall, while Erling Haaland, Joao Cancelo, Ruben Dias and Bernardo Silva are all rated 88 overall.

Phil Foden has received an upgrade like a large chunk of his teammates, jumping from 84 to 85 overall. The England international has also seen his primary position change from CAM to LW, though he can still be played at CAM as it's now his secondary position. In a video released on the England Football official Youtube channel, Foden is seen finding out his new FIFA 23 rating for the first time, along with England teammate and Borussia Dortmund star, Jude Bellingham.

The video titled 'FIFA FLASHBACK' goes through the duo's past FIFA ratings to their current, showing how they've improved over the years. They start with Foden's FIFA card from FIFA 18, and the City forward was quick to find something to laugh at.

“Oh my gosh, the trim on this,” laughed Foden. “I was young, we’ve all been there!”

Foden was rated 65 overall in his first FIFA, meaning he was a silver card on the game. "What I can say though, first card is silver [which is] decent."
