What Benjamin Pavard has already said on Chelsea transfer verdict as Man United plot £25m hijack

Benjamin Pavard has already dropped a major hint on his future amid growing interest from Chelsea. The 26-year-old defender has been linked with an exit from Bayern Munich this summer amid Thomas Tuchel's search for defensive reinforcements.

The west Londoners have already signed Kalidou Koulibaly, but with Todd Boehly yet to have signed another defender, Chelsea are continuing their plunge into the market to assess their options. And, Pavard, whose contract at the Allianz Arena expires in two years, is said to be in the Blues' sights.

According to French outlet L’Équipe, Chelsea and Manchester United are both keen to sign the France international. However, he's already made it clear as to where he sees his future.

"I didn't win the title in France, I have to win in France. If the opportunity arises one day and I can win in France, why not. I'm open to everything."

Pavard then claimed that he's very happy at Bayern and wouldn't ever consider a move to Borussia Dortmund. The Frenchman said: "I still have two years of contract, I still hope to win many titles.

"I'm very happy at FC Bayern. If I were to move one day, it certainly won't be to Dortmund, even though I respect their fantastic fans. I'm good in Munich. I know Germany very well, I played in Stuttgart, which was a big family with amazing fans. I was a kid and became a man there thanks to them."
