West Ham XI vs Southampton: Predicted lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest for FA Cup tie today
West Ham begin a potentially crucial month with an FA Cup tie against Southampton tonight, with David Moyes reporting no fresh injury worries.
A run of six games in 19 days across the FA Cup, Premier League and Europa League begins at St Mary’s, with a place in the FA Cup quarter-finals at stake.
Moyes remains without Vladimir Coufal and Ryan Fredericks, while Angelo Ogbonna is a long-term absentee. Despite those losses, the Hammers boss is confident his squad has what it takes to navigate the weeks ahead.
“We know we are a little bit short of where we would like to be," said Moyes. “[But] the squad I have at the moment have done a brilliant job over the last two years and I have no reason to think they will not do a brilliant job in the coming three months between now and the end of the season."
