West Ham vs Man City prediction and odds ahead of Premier League clash

Man City will be looking to maintain their 100% record when they make a trip down to West Ham United with the hosts failing to pick up a win against the Citizens at home since October 2014. Both sides have started the season well with Pep Guardiola's side the only ones in the Premier League to have not dropped a single point yet while Irons are two points behind them despite drawing away to Bournemouth at the start of the season.

City are the unsurprising favourites going into this match at 4/9 with Betfred while the Hammers will be looking to produce a shock at 11/2 and a draw is 7/2. The Irons are winless in their last 15 league meetings against Man City with their last win back in September 2015 at the Etihad Stadium - almost a year before Guardiola took over the club.

But for those who like their stats, be warned, David Moyes has already overseen West Ham demolish one unwanted run when they beat Brighton & Hove Albion a few weeks ago. The Irons failed to beat Albion in 12 attempts since the latter's promotion six years ago but finally picked up three points against the Seagulls at the 13th time of asking when they made the short trip down to the American Express Stadium.
