We also head to southern Israel and the city of Ashkelon. It's located just 15 kilometres from the Gaza border, making it a target for Hamas rocket fire. Many residents have evacuated, while NGOs there have been trying to support vulnerable Israelis who remain, including Holocaust survivors. Finally, Jordan is home to millions of people of Palestinian origin. Many are naturalised Jordanian citizens. But hundreds of thousands, who have been displaced since the 1967 war, still live in refugee camps. Our Amman correspondent Mohamed Errami has been to visit the largest such camp, to meet Palestinians deeply affected by events in Gaza Strip.
