Welling United manager Ryan Maxwell says he’s proud to have the best home record in the country of clubs from the Premier League to the Isthmian Premier

Welling United boast the best home record in the country - and manager Ryan Maxwell is determined to keep it that way.

The Wings made it nine wins out of nine in the Isthmian Premier this season after beating Carshalton 4-0 on Saturday.

Their form at Park View Road has helped them to second place in the table and is unmatched by any of the big boys.

“To have, as we sit today, the best home record in the country from the Premier League down to our level is phenomenal and that’s going to be a massive part in any success we have,” said Maxwell.

Lekan Majoyegbe, Sam Smith, Demaray Anyadike and Nahum Melvin-Lambert scored against Carshalton as Welling maintained their perfect home record.

Maxwell went a year unbeaten at home with former club Sittingbourne and has instilled the same qualities in his Wings team.

“The support at home has been brilliant and the players are feeding off it.

“We’re in a great place and really enjoying our time at home.
