Weekend GAA fixtures: Who is playing and where to watch

Hurling action dominates this weekend's fixtures as a host of exciting matchups lie ahead.

Limerick will be looking to build on their win against Tipperary last weekend as they sit fifth in Division 1A. They face Galway who sit second in the division and are coming off a win against Wexford.

Sunday offers a double header of quality hurling action with Kilkenny taking on Tipperary at Nowlan Park and Clare facing Munster rivals Cork. It was announced last week that All-Ireland champions Clare will be without their star forward Shane O'Donnell who will miss the remainder of the season.

The reigning Hurler of the Year and All-Star had to undergo shoulder surgery and is not expected back in action until the end of the year.

The 31-year-old has not played this season, but this was a routine that has been in place since 2022, where he has not played until the later stages of the league campaign.

There are just two football games this weekend as Wexford play Wicklow in Division 4 on Saturday and a Divsion 3 clash between Sligo and Clare on Sunday.
