Weather forecast this week after snow in Greater Manchester

Snow, sleet, wind and sunshine; Greater Manchester had it all last week.

Numerous amber and yellow weather warnings were issued by the Met Office as our region saw its first snow of the month and temperatures fell below freezing. Storm Larisa was responsible for bringing wintry scenes throughout the week, with the cold snap causing chaos in some areas.

Multiple crashes were reported in Greater Manchester late on Thursday night, with drivers still stuck for several hours on the M62 on Friday morning. After being battered by the elements, plenty of rain - and potentially more snow - is on the way for our region this week.
