We simulated Brentford vs Man City to get a score prediction for Premier League fixture

Manchester City will be looking to break the 90-point barrier for the second consecutive season when they face Brentford on Sunday.

A Julio Enciso wondergoal held City to a 1-1 draw against Brighton and Hove Albion in their last outing, putting an end to Pep Guardiola's 12-game winning streak in the Premier League. With the title already wrapped up, the draw doesn't mean much to City, but a point on Sunday against Brentford would see them reach 90 points for the second season running.

It's no doubt that Guardiola will have one eye on the weeks ahead though, with an FA Cup final and Champions League final rapidly approaching. The last meeting between City and Brentford ended in a 2-1 win for the Bees, the only defeat City have suffered at home this season.

So, how will City get on in the final Premier League game of the season? We simulated the clash to find out. To complete this simulation, we used FIFA 23 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.

We predict that Brentford could set up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Raya; Hickey, Pinnock, Mee, Henry; Onyeka, Janelt, Jensen; Mbuemo, Wissa, Schade.

We predict that City could line up in a 3-2-4-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Akanji; Lewis, Phillips; Mahrez, De Bruyne, Foden, Grealish; Haaland.

City failed to get going in the first half in the capital, with the midfield being overrun and Erling Haaland isolated up top. Brentford were impressive, and the hosts took a deserved lead before half-time.

Kevin Schade took aim from outside the box, but his strike ricocheted off the leg of Kyle Walker
