'We know...' - Transfer insider drops major claim about Raphinha and Leeds United

Leeds United have been enduring a dour campaign so far, with things appearing to get worse for Leeds fans who are likely to lose their prized asset soon.

There’s no doubting one of the few bright points of the Leeds season has been the performances of Raphinha. His displays have earned him caps for Brazil which is something else that has given Leeds fans a boost this season, seeing him represent his country.

Transfer insider Dean Jones has been speaking to This is Futbol, and confirmed the current situation surrounding Raphinha’s future with the Yorkshire club amid speculation linking him with a high-profile move away.

He told us that: “Gives Raphinha the chance to put himself on a stage because ultimately Raphinha, we know, is very unlikely to remain at Leeds.”

TIF thoughts on Jones’ comments…

It’s hard to argue with him at this moment in time, Leeds are struggling in the Premier League and there is a real possibility they could relinquish their Premier League status. If that was to happen there’s surely no chance the Brazilian would stay at Elland Road.

Even if Leeds are to stay up, we’ve seen Liverpool and Bayern Munich apparently after the winger, two propositions that would be impossible for him to refuse.

He has been in scintillating form this campaign, bagging nine goals and two assists in his 23 Premier League outings for the Whites so can certainly bring quality to any top club.
