'We have hope again' - Manchester United fans say the same thing amid Matt Judge 'resignation'

Further change is on the horizon at Manchester United as supporters continue to react to reports Matt Judge has resigned from his position as head of corporate development. Judge has held that position since 2014 - having first arrived at Old Trafford in 2012.

Several high-profile departures from key figures upstairs have already been confirmed as United prepare to start a new era with Erik ten Hag as manager. His appointment was announced last week although the Dutchman is set to spend the rest of this campaign with Ajax.

He is chasing down a third Eredivisie title in four seasons. Back to Old Trafford, Jim Lawlor (chief scout) and Marcel Bout (head of global scouting) are among those who are already following executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward out of the door.

According to The Athletic, that trio will be joined by Judge after he serves a notice period. He has been a key figure responsible for leading transfer and contract negotiations at the club and, naturally, the reports have filtered across social media with countless responses from United supporters.

The Athletic report states he will serve through a notice period in his contract and he will not play an active role in recruitment for Ten Hag during the upcoming window. Here are a selection of comments as taken from popular social media platform Twitter;
