Waterford part company with manager Ian Morris after 10 league games
Waterford have sacked manager Ian Morris after just four months and 10 league games in charge following a disappointing start to the First Division season.
The pre-season title favourites fell to a 2-1 defeat to Cork City on Monday, a fourth defeat in the last half a dozen games.
The result leaves the Blues in fifth place in the table, nine points adrift of the Leesiders.
"I personally would like to thank Ian for all his hard work," club chairman Mitch Cowling said.
"He is a great guy and I have no doubt he will manage at the top level. We may have parted ways today but Ian will always be welcomed at the RSC to cheer the Blues on.
