WATCH | 'You must always be ready to be fired' - Orlando Pirates co-coach Mandla Ncikazi

Mandla Ncikazi says that he is "always prepared to be fired" as Orlando Pirates co-coach.

The 53-year-old arrived at the Buccaneers in June 2021 as an assistant coach but soon took on a co-coach role with Fadlu Davids when German mentor Josef Zinnbauer resigned.

Things have not been too rosy for the Sea Robbers in recent times, with Kaizer Chiefs recording a league double over their foes in the current 2021/22 campaign.

However, Pirates are currently log leaders in their CAF Confederation Cup Group A following their emphatic 3-0 victory over Royal Leopards on Sunday evening.

Speaking to reporters after the victory, Ncikazi said that he is not happy about their run of results and is "feeling bad" for the supporters of the club.
