With four runs required off three balls, the South African speedster, who had to defend nine from the last over and had conceded five from the first two balls, prised out Tess Flintoff (55), Erin Burns (0) and Issy Wong (0) to collect a remarkable win for the Welsh team.
The hat-trick not only sealed a three-run win, but also kept the Welsh Fire at the top of the women's Hundred table with three wins from four matches.
Ismail joins Imran Tahir and Alana King as the tournament's only hat-trick aces.
