WATCH | Tennis ace Alexander Zverev kicked out of Mexican Open after temper tantrum
Olympic tennis champion Alexander Zverev was kicked out of the Acapulco Open on Wednesday for unsportsmanlike conduct after repeatedly hitting the umpire's chair with his racquet and swearing at the official.
Together with his doubles partner Marcelo Melo of Brazil, Zverev lost to Britain's Lloyd Glasspool and Harri Helivaara of Finland, and the incident occurred at the end of the encounter.
He faces further punishment from the ATP for his outburst.
