WATCH | Spirit of cricket: Nepal 'keeper refuses to run out Ireland batter after accidental trip
A heartwarming spirit of cricket moment unfolded when Ireland played Nepal in a T20 in Oman when Nepal wicketkeeper Aasif Sheikh refused to run out Irish batter Andy McBrine after the latter was accidentally tripped during a quick single.
Ireland beat Nepal by 16 runs in the quadrangular series match but Sheikh's withdrawal of hand when he could have easily run McBrine out, who collided with bowler Kamal Singh during an attempted run, stole the show.
The incident also took place in a crucial penultimate over of Ireland's innings.
