WATCH | Royal AM boss wears captain's armband and plays 60 minutes against AmaZulu
Royal AM chairman Andile Mpisane took to the pitch as he captained the club's reserve team on Saturday.
Currently the PSL's youngest chairman at the tender age of 21, he donned the number 10 jersey as Royal AM took on AmaZulu in the DStv Diski Challenge.
Mpisane attempted to showcase his skills to the crowd which included a dangerous free-kick and a couple of through balls, but unfortunately most of them found none of his teammates as he looked out of sorts compared to other players on the pitch.
He was taken off on the hour mark and he did not look happy as he can be seen having a heated discussion on the sidelines with the coaches.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Whether or not we'll see the musician play again remains to be seen. However, it will be a fascinating journey to find out whether he will play for the senior team anytime soon as his dream to play for the first team continues.
