WATCH | Multi-car accidents mar start of British GP
The British Grand Prix was red-flagged after a horror crash at the start on Sunday.
Championship leader Max Verstappen in his Red Bull, who started in second, managed to jump pole-sitter Carlos Sainz's Ferrari into the first corner, but drama down the field led to an immediate red flag.
A number of cars were involved, including George Russell (Mercedes) and Alex Albon (Williams), but it was Zhou Guanyu's Alfa Romeo that was flipped upside down before it sped through the sand trap and hit the fencing at the end of the start-finish straight.
It took some time for the rescue team to get Guanyu out of the car, but he was moving and said to be okay. The driver, as well as Albon, were taken to the trackside medical center for further evaluation.
