Karan did not look comfortable during his stay at the crease and in an effort to free his arms, he tried to slam the delivery directly over Moeen's head. However, the bowler showed tremendous reflexes to catch the ball as it almost stuck to his hands at that speed. Ayush Badoni stood tall amidst the ruins with a classy half-century on a poor surface before a sharp downpour forced Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings to split points.
