Star Senegal forward Sadio Mane scored the final penalty in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations final shootout victory against Egypt, ending Liverpool team-mate Mohamed Salah's chance at tournament glory.
The 4-2 shootout triumph saw the Lions of Teranga claim their first-ever Afcon crown in a match that was intense, exciting and emotional from the first kick of the ball.
There was absolute joy from Senegal players and staff, who flooded the field after the final whistle.
On the contrary, there were plenty of tears coming from Egypt, while Mane went over to console his Liverpool strike partner Salah after the match.
