WATCH | Faf du Plessis destroys Super Giants bowlers to record first SA20 century

Joburg Super Kings skipper Faf du Plessis scored the SA20's first century as he blasted Durban's Super Giants to all parts of the Wanderers on Tuesday.

Du Plessis scored 113 not out off 58 balls as the Super Kings successfully chased down their 179-run victory target with five balls to spare.

Du Plessis' innings included eight fours and eight sixes.

The eight-wicket victory reignited the Super Kings' SA20 campaign as they leapfrogged MI Cape Town into fourth place on the standings. 

Durban's Super Giants' chances of qualifying for the playoffs are now slim as they remain at the foot of the table.
