Watch: Bukayo Saka produces filthy nutmeg during Arsenal win v Wolves

While Bukayo Saka didn’t get on the scoresheet during Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Wolves, he did produce one moment of magic.

Saka has been one of Arsenal’s standout performers this season, registering seven goals and four assists in all competitions.

The 20-year-old made his 28th appearance of the season against Wolves and watched on as Gabriel broke the deadlock in the 25th minute.

Arsenal had a great chance to double their lead 17 minutes later when Saka terrorised the Wolves defence with his brilliant footwork.

He nutmegged Marcal and drove forward before passing to Alexandre Lacazette, who could only fire straight at the Wolves goalkeeper.

Arsenal were still able to hold on for the win at Molineux but Saka will undoubtedly be disappointed that his hard work didn’t lead to a goal.

The England international, who has just over two years left on his contract, has recently been linked with Manchester City and Liverpool.

But Mikel Arteta has recently confirmed that Arsenal are set to open contract extension talks with the winger in the near future.

“It is a conversation we are going to have with the player, then his agent, his family — [talks] which are going to be extremely important as well — so everybody is on board,” the manager said.

“Obviously, our desire is to keep Bukayo as long as possible, because we are really happy. He is part of our club, our DNA, he is growing, he is maturing.

“His importance in the team is unquestionable and we want to keep our best talent, that’s for sure.”
