Wales: Why do they take team photos the way they do?

Wales booked a spot at the World Cup for the first time in 64 years after beating Ukraine in a dramatic play-off game over the weekend.

It took a paltry Andriy Yarmalenko own goal to separate the sides and send Gareth Bale and co to Qatar.

Wales had to weather a storm all night long as Ukraine threw everything at them, registering nine shots on target, hogging 68% of the possession, and more than doubling Wales’ passing tally.

It was to be a red day at the Cardiff City Stadium though as Wales held out and can now look forward to their first global event in decades.

While that means that we will see likely see the likes of Bale at a World Cup, fans are more excited to see further reprisals of some of Wales’ truly chaotic pre-match photos.

The side have become known for fearing no god when it comes to the composition of their team photos, with each one more haphazard than the next.

Be it woefully uneven numbers among the lines, different squatting positions, standing, sitting, or simply not looking at the camera, Wales really have tried it all.
