Wales squad announcement live updates: Wayne Pivac names his players for autumn internationals
Wales boss Wayne Pivac will today reveal his squad for the upcoming autumn internationals.
With results taking priority in the Six Nations, the November Test matches are widely expected to be Pivac's final opportunity to experiment with some new faces ahead of next year's Rugby World Cup.
There are also injury problems to contend with. Starting full-back Liam Williams is out of the campaign with a shoulder injury and captain Dan Biggar is also a significant doubt with a knee problem. Gareth Anscombe has also been sidelined with a rib problem.
Up front, Pivac has the right kind of selection dilemmas with a wealth of options at hooker, lock and particularly openside flanker.
The Wales boss will name his squad for Test matches against New Zealand (November 5), Argentina (November 12), Georgia (November 19) and Australia (November 26) at midday . He will then hold a press conference at 1pm .
