Wales rugby press conference live: Wayne Pivac gives injury updates as assistant set to leave role

Wales head coach Wayne Pivac is holding a press conference this afternoon as his side continue their preparations for the South Africa tour this summer.

The squad fly out later this week but there are a handful of injury concerns that need to be cleared up. Captain Dan Biggar was forced out of Northampton's semi-final two weeks ago with a back problem, while Josh Adams arrived in camp with a knee issue. Rhys Patchell also arrived in camp with a hamstring problem.

Pivac is also expected to be asked about assistant Gareth Williams, who looks set to leave his role after the tour. You can read more about that here.

Wales-based players have been in camp since the beginning of June, with things really ramping up in recent weeks. Players based at clubs in England, though, only arrived at the Vale Resort HQ on Monday.
