Wales press conference live updates: Ross Moriarty fitness latest as Pivac decides selection for Six Nations opener

Wales will hold their first press conference ahead of the Ireland match today as head coach Wayne Pivac considers his team selection.

Pivac has to deal with a raft of injuries for the Six Nations opener but there is hopeful news over Ross Moriarty.

The abrasive flanker, who could be extremely useful out in Dublin, came through the Dragons' clash with Benetton last weekend, his first game since suffering a shoulder injury against New Zealand last autumn.

Today we'd expect an update on how he is progressing and whether he has played his way into contention for the Six Nations curtain raiser.
