VUE Cinema to screen iconic Batman films in celebration of 'Batman Day'

VUE cinemas across the UK and Ireland will be celebrating the anniversary of Batman’s first appearance in DC comics by bringing iconic Batman films back to the big screen

Marking the 83rd anniversary since the superhero’s appearance in the DC Detective Comics in 1939, VUE cinemas will be bringing three iconic films in celebration of Batman.

Notably played by A-list actors such as Christian Bale, Robert Patterson, Michael Keaton, Ben Affleck and George Clooney, Batman films have garnered huge popularity over the past.

The Dark Knight Rises and The Joker, Batman’s longtime rival starring Jouqian Phoenix have performed exceptionally at the box office with both films garnering over one billion dollars.

The three films to be featured at VUE cinemas are The Batman (1989) starring Michael Keaton, The Dark Knight (2009) starring Christian Bale and The Joker (2019) starring Joaquin Phoenix.

The three films will be returning to the big screens as part of the 75th anniversary of Warner Brothers which will include other notable films returning to the big screen.

The Batman films will be available to watch at VUE cinemas on September 16 with Super Saver tickets available to purchase online.

Other films returning as part of the 75th anniversary of Warner Bros include The Lord Of The Rings trilogy and Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar.
