Virgin Media slashes £630 off sports TV bundle including all Sky Sports channels, UEFA Champions League and WWE's Friday Night Smackdown
As Man City take on Burnley to kickstart the new season of the Premier League, many football fans will be looking for the best price on TV sport packages. Ahead of the new season, Virgin Media has slashed the price of its popular sports bundle, saving fans more than £600.
It's all thanks to Virgin Media's M250 Bigger + Sports bundle which has been dropped to £65 a month for the first 18 months. And it's packed with extras; all Sky Sports channels, Eurosport and the newly formed TNT Sports which has access to the likes of UEFA Champions League and WWE's Friday Night Smackdown.
But fans have to be quick as there are just weeks left to get Virgin Media's bundle at this reduced rate before it raises back to its usual £100 a month price. Those that take it out between now and August 30 will save £630 across the total plan, which you can buy here.

After the initial 18-month deal the price customers will pay the extra £35 a month (£100 a month total) but there is no legal obligation to stay, so you could move on to another provider to avoid the extra cost.
And for those that switch from rival Sky Sports, there's a saving of more than £800, compared to its similar £26 a-month contract on the Sky TV package with the Stream box. Users on this competitor plan would pay an additional £20 to add Sky Sports, another £27 for TNT Sports and £38 for a 145Mbps broadband connection.
As well as the footie, which is a priority for many, customers will be able to watch content in 1080p HD on the Virgin TV 360 set-top box, which comes included. There's no set-up fuss as all viewers would need to do is plug the satellite-free box into the wall.
