Virgil Van Dijk Went Alpha Mode When Antonio Rudiger Squared Up To Him - Fabinho Couldn't Stop Laughing

Rudiger took issue with Naby Keita's arm catching Mason Mount in the face during the first half and he was quick to get in referee Stuart Attwell's face.

Van Dijk came running over to defend Keita and that annoyed Rudiger, who kept trying to shove the Dutchman away.

Every time Rudiger pushed van Dijk to get a reaction, he ignored it and kept his eyes focused on Attwell.

Rudiger then turned around to Fabinho who had a massive grin on his face.

There's a reason van Dijk is one of the most composed defenders in world football.

Fans have reacted to the incident and they think it could be one of the funniest moments of the game.

One commented: "Embarrassing for him. Man was trying so hard for a reaction and didn’t get it."

Another said: "You can tell it hurt his masculinity coz he started trying it with Fabinho after and then proceeded to get laughed at."

A third added: "Rudiger wants to chill with the big boys VVD gave him nothing."

While someone put: "Looks like VVD don’t know who tf Rudiger is, in tears."

The game ended 0-0 after 120 minutes of action and was settled 11-10 in the penalty shootout in favour of Liverpool.

It's the fifth major trophy manager Jurgen Klopp has won with Liverpool since taking over in 2015.

"And after the game it was nice to celebrate with the people after a long time without having any reason to celebrate something, or not the opportunity to celebrate something. So, I’m really happy about the whole thing."
