Virals: Liverpool ace Diogo Jota 'on track' to feature in Carabao Cup final
Liverpool forward Diogo Jota is reportedly ‘on track’ to feature in the Carabao Cup final.
The 25-year-old damaged ankle ligaments against Inter Milan and was forced to miss the victories over Norwich City and Leeds United.
It was believed that the Portuguese ace was facing a race against time along with Roberto Firmino to be ready for the showpiece clash with Chelsea.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, as cited by MailOnline Sport on Twitter, Jota would appear to have his battle.

The report claims that the club are ‘cautiously optimistic’ that the 22-cap Portugal man will feature at Wembley despite still requiring a green light.
Brazilian forward Firmino meanwhile will not be available after damaging an adductor muscle.
This season Jota has scored 17 times and provided three assists in 32 appearances across all competitions – including three goals en route to the final.
What a huge boost having the £53million valued star available would be to Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
Albeit only likely to be a place on the bench, the lethal Portuguese frontman’s presence as a possible impact substitute could be all-important.
Liverpool fans will certainly hope to see Jota on Sunday (February 27) and hopefully Firmino soon after.
