Viral video argues Daniel Sturridge would have been an 'all-time great' if not for injuries
Daniel Sturridge was brilliant at his peak.
Signed by Liverpool in 2012, it didn’t take long for Sturridge to start banging in the goals for the club.
He soon formed a devastating partnership with Luis Suarez up front. The two were unplayable for their first few seasons together.
Sturridge notched 35 goals in 49 games across his first one-and-a-half seasons with the club.
But he had so much more in his locker than just goals.

As well as being a lethal finisher, Sturridge was also lightning quick and had incredible technical ability.
His left-foot was magic. He was a creator as well as a goalscorer.
But then injuries hit Sturridge hard. He only scored 32 goals for Liverpool in his last five seasons with the club.
However, it’s important to remember just how good he was at his very best.
Twitter user @KopEndFracas has re-posted a video, created by @afchoncho, which argues he would have been an all-time great if not for injuries.
