Vikki Wall kicks two goals as North Melbourne hammer Brisbane to take AFLW title
Meath two-time All-Ireland winner Vikki Wall contributed two goals and a behind as North Melbourne hammered the Brisbane Lions 39-9 to claim a first AFLW title.
Wall, who missed out on a place in the Ireland rugby sevens squad for the Paris Olympics, was the Kangaroos' second top scorer on the day as they overwhelmed the serial finalists Brisbane, who had Tipperary's Orla O'Dwyer and Dublin's Jennifer Dunne in their line-up.
Cork's Erika O'Shea also featured for North Melbourne, recording eight disposals.
It was sweet revenge for North Melbourne, who lost the 2023 Grand Final to Brisbane.
