Vikings' Murray clears concussion protocol, will start vs. Bucs - ESPN

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray has cleared the concussion protocol and will start Sunday's game at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, coach Kevin O'Connell announced Monday.

Murray suffered his concussion on the 11th play of his debut game with the Vikings in Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers, but his symptoms were minor enough to allow him to practice.

Backup Carson Wentz has completed 23 of 39 passes for 276 yards and three touchdowns since replacing Murray, without committing a turnover, and he made two throws in the fourth quarter Sunday that helped the Vikings drain clock while protecting a one-score lead in a 9-3 victory over the Chicago Bears.

The Vikings are 2-0, the lone undefeated team in the NFC North this season.
