Victoria's Secret's first model with Down's Syndrome says campaign is 'a dream come true'

Victoria's Secret has made history by casting a model with Down's Syndrome to star in one of their campaigns for the first time. After making her runway debut at New York Fashion Week in 2020, 25-year-old Sofia Jirau has now been recruited to star in the lingerie brand's new Love Cloud campaign.The Puerto Rican model took to her Instagram earlier in the week to share her excitement about being cast in Victoria's Secret's mew campaign.

In a black and white image shared with her 272,000 followers, Sofia posed up a storm in a stunning floral bra. Sofia continued: "I can finally tell you my big secret… I am the first Victoria's Secret model with Down syndrome! "Thanks to all of you for always supporting me in my projects.Thanks to @victoriassecret for seeing me as a #NoLimits model and making me part of the Love Cloud Collection inclusion campaign. "This is just the beginning, now it's formed! Inside and out there are no limits, Alavett!" Fans rushed to share their joy in the comments section as one said: "Sofia!!! You inspire me!!! How beautiful it is to see ourselves in your mirror! Your beauty is unquestionable and your determination is what makes you impressive!!! I celebrate you!!!" Another followed with: "Congratulations beautiful! You deserve it and you have worked so hard to achieve it.
