Victims of 'UK's most dangerous animal' feared they were going to die after horror attacks

A common animal that many of us spot on pleasant walks in the countryside with our dogs could actually be the UK's most dangerous.

Jill Gilmore and her husband, Mark, were walking their dog in Stockport when she suffered a horrifying ordeal that left her with a dozen broken ribs, a fractured pelvis, and additional breaks in her arm and neck.

Jill also sustained injuries to her lungs, head and ankle and subsequently endured three days of gruelling surgery, an ICU stay and time on a ventilator, all because she climbed over a stile on a public footpath.

Speaking previously to the Manchester Evening News, she admitted she "didn't remember" a lot of the attack from the "frenzied" animals.

Kathy McKellar and Huw Evans tragically lost their lives in cow-related incidents in 2022, while others have narrowly survived but sustained
