"Very soon" - Journalist now drops exciting Nottingham Forest transfer claim on 6 ft 5 colossus

Nottingham Forest are expected to revisit their interest in Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Willy Boly ‘very soon’, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

It seems Boly’s time at Molineux could well come to an end before the close of the transfer window.

According to Express and Star, Wolves are open to offers for the towering centre-half this summer.

His contract is due to expire at the end of the season and the Midlands club’s recent purchase of Nathan Collins from Burnley has pushed the ageing Ivory Coast international down the pecking order.

Nottingham Forest have already tabled a £1m bid for Boly but it was rejected by Wolves.

They want more for the former Auxerre and Porto man, and will only sell if they have a direct replacement lined up first.

Nonetheless, Forest have been tipped to revisit their interest in Boly in the near future.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, Jones stated that Forest are keen admirers of the 6 foot 5 defender and he expects them to revisit their interest soon.

The transfer insider said to GMS: “Forest really like Boly and have already gone in for him once – my expectation is that they are going to revisit the situation very soon.”

Forest have been by far the Premier League’s busiest club this summer, having made an incredible 16 additions.

The obvious assumption is that any further signings will only make it more difficult for Steve Cooper to get his side to gel quick enough to ensure Premier League survival come the end of the campaign.

But Boly has the makings of a shrewd addition if Forest can agree a fee that’s within the realms of their initial £1m bid.

He’s a Premier League proven player, with 89 appearances in the competition under his belt already, and enjoyed his best seasons
